Natalie Lymer of Cinderberry Stitches has released three great new patterns which you can see here. One of them is a lovely bag called Ginger & Spice and uses yo-yo's or suffolk puffs. Natalie has put together a really helpful tutorial on how to use the new Clover Yo-Yo Makers. She also has two free stitchery patterns available on her website which are very sweet.

A big, bloggy hello to Aussie farm girl & fellow quilter, Chookyblue, who left us a lovely message recently. Check out her blog here. She has made a version of Kerry Swain's Pinwheel quilt, similar to Gai P's.

Not too many of us today, only 5 - Pat, Kerry, Cath, Joan and myself (Peg). But we did have a very enjoyable day. Dale was going to join us but she was sick in bed, but back to her old self today (we did miss you Day-Day). As you will see by the photos we all achieved heaps and when I went home I stippled and completed the "Tigers Football Quilt" (Ros did post a photo earlier) for my nephew Travis. Quilting again in a fortnight hope to see you there.
Pat has just finished this lovely bag - it is called a saddle bag, when you open it up it becomes this huge bag full of pockets and oh so much space, definitely what all quilters need. Pat did this in a day and she started on her second one yesterday at our Sunday quilting day.

June has just completed this lovely quilt for her granddaughter Miss Amber, it is so cute and what I hear Miss Amber just loves it, hopefully I will be able to get a photo of Miss Amber with her quilt............Beautiful job June.
Last weekend we had another fantastic retreat, this time it was at Carols farm. To Carol and Gussy we would like to say a huge thankyou for once again letting us remove ourselves from the day to day presures of life and retire for a weekend to your home away from home. Dale, Peg, Kath, June, Gai, Kerry, Pat and Cath headed out to Carols with our projects and of course one or two treats for a weekend of fun, laughter, funny stories, one or two refreshments and the best company ever.
It was so lovely to catch up with Norm and her daughter Deb, - Norm had bought along with her a couple of her completed projects, they were just lovely one was a project she had done at Nundle a couple of years ago and the second one which is the red and cream - is a little something she has been putting together over the past couple of months.
