Visit from Carolyn........

We don't see enough of Carolyn and it was so nice to catch up with her on our last Saturday. Carolyn hasn't been doing too much sewing at the moment but she did say this year..........is going to be the year.......to pull out that sewing machine.

Sheila's Bag...

This lady is unbelievable.....can whip up anything - in no time at all............this is a little number that Sheila made when we were at Ridgecrest, (I think) last year, but don't hold me to that, it may have even been the year before......Sheila thought she had finished for the day, but we felt she just couldn't sit around while we were still slaving over our machines......so as I mentioned earlier she just whipped this little number up.

Joan - Sunrise/Sunset

Joan and I have both made these two wonderful quilts. Thimbleberries - Sunrise and Sunset, kits were purchased through Kerry Swain from 'Cottage on the Hill' in Nundle. Joanie is showing off her works of art.

Kath...."our cushion queen"

Kath has had a request form one of her nieces .........'could you please make me some of those lovely cushions'.....so Kath being the wonderful Auntie.... said of course (I think she is now up to about number 10 cushion)........here is Kath with the fronts of her cushions and a quilt top for her sister in law, the colours are just lovely in this.........very old world charm.

Joan and Pat have been busy....

Joan and Pat are two ladies on another mission.........they have been busy making some heat bags for the up and coming quilt show which is being put on by the Trangie Quilters. As you can see by these photos they have been very busy.

New Member - welcome to Jill

On our last Saturday we had Jill, who lives in Trangie come and join our group. Jill has moved here from the Central Coast and teaches in Trangie. Jill was working on this quilt, all done by hand - quilt as you go....just lovely

Pat has also made this lovely bag for her sister.
I very noble person by the name of June has been known to say....
'arn't we cleaver'
and ain't she right.

Gail's Bag......

Check out this bag....it is just wonderful, and sneaking a peek inside....what did we find.... a sunglasses case that matched the bag........we were impressed..........Gail is a woman on a mission she is working through her UFOs (the bag was one) today Gail was soldering on with her "Mumms Scrappy" that we did last year....

For June's Grandson 'Coen' - work of art in progress...

June is making a quilt for her grandson.......as you can see a lot of stitchin in this one....June is also making a matching bag for the quilt to live in when 'Coen' isn't using it.

Kerry's Masterpiece

Kerry came along with a little design of her own.......she completed this and then went and designed some cushions for her daughter Tracey. "What a good Mum"
