Food...Food and even more food

Our lovely hostess Ros does know how to put on a mid day feast....I forgot to take some photos of dessert, but we had individual servings of pavlova, add your own berries, banana or mango and finish off with a big dollop of cream....and of course after that coffee and chocolates and then a bit later on afternoon tea.....

Carolyn's Christmas Table Cloth

Carolyn has made this fantastic Christmas tablecloth......the colours are just beautiful...and she has actually bagged this so there will be no bulk on the table.

Check this out!!!!!

Sheila has made this lovely quilt out of her collection of Japanese fabric....it is a whack and stack...and just check out what she had done with the red ribbon.....stunning

Our Dale is up to number 30

Dale, is going very well with the bags, she is trying to get a bit in front, as Christmas is coming up and the means a visit from her little boys...4 of her 5 grandsons always come and stay for a week or so after Christmas and this means no time for sewing, and then they are off on Holidays...so there goes January.

Hot, hot, hot

I found this very nifty idea from Anna Maria Horner, just in time for a long, hot, Australian summer of swimming. It is a Tote-able Towel and there is a tutorial here. Would make a great Christmas gift for the children in your life.

Sunday Quilting

Pat purchased from the Christian School Craft show held in Dubbo a couple of weeks ago..a "Cottage On The Hill 2007 Challenge" by Kerry Swain.... http://kerryswainscottage.blogspot.com/ which consisted of a 2007 Calender Panel and 6 fat eighths....and this is what she came up with.....Pat this is just stunning.....you have definitely put a new look to "the panel"........
We had a great roll up to our quilting day today, I think we had 12.....everyone was very busy with new projects or completing some old UFO's ( I won't mention any names Carolyn)...but all in all we did have a most enjoyable day.
